Day 5 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer The POWER to Submit

Welcome to Day 5 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Day 5 Devotions - The POWER to Submit

The power to submit comes from the grace of God. He gives more grace.....

Wherefore he saith, God resists the proud, but gives more grace to the humble. James 4:6

Grace is the power of God working on your behalf without you earning it, qualifying for it, or working for it. It is the unmerited favor of God. It is the divine enabling of God.

Grace is God doing for you what you could not do for yourself. In order to receive this grace we must first seek it, find it and receive it by faith.

Ephesians 2:8, 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Grace is a gift that comes from God. It is something that is bestowed upon us by the favor of God. And it enables us to work for him, live for him and obey his word. It is received by faith, but it requires our seeking after it.

For by grace are y...

Day 4 of TENDER HEART JUNE - How do you receive a Tender Heart?

Welcome to Day 4 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Day 4 Devotions -  How do you receive a Tender Heart?

II Kings 22:19 says Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard: Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord: when thou heardest the word which I spake against this place.

To receive a tender heart a person must be a hearer and doer of the word of God.

Luke 6: 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of heart his mouth speaketh.

What comes out of your mouth comes from your heart. If your heart is hardened what comes out of your mouth is not coming out of a good treasure but out of an evil treasure.

When a person has a tender heart their words come out of the good treasure of their heart. This person is one who heareth the sayings of Jesus and ...

DAY 3 Tender Heart June Online Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Welcome to Day 3 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Day 3 Devotions - A TENDER HEART OF FORGIVENESS

Ephesians 5:31 says, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

The Tender Heart of Forgiveness - The Key to Submission

Without a tender heart to forgive we will never have right relationships, because there can never be true submission without forgiveness.

Without the tender heart to forgive there will always be a short- circuiting of God-ordained covenant relationships. Without the tender heart to forgive there will always be the propensity to develop a hardened heart.

A tenderhearted person is one that has learned that the secret of submission is forgiveness. Why? Because there are no perfect people to be submitted to. And because you have to first be submitted to God-ordained author...

Day 2 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Welcome to Day 2 of TENDER HEART JUNE Solemn Assembly of Prayer

Day 2 Devotions - A TENDER HEART OF FORGIVENESS

Ephesians 5:31 says, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

If we are going to truly have the tender heart of God we must learn how to forgive. Forgiveness actually means to give beforehand.

Forgiveness, it is to give reconciliation before there is even the knowledge by the other that there has been a transgression.

Forgiveness is to give peace before there is the acknowledgment of an offence. This is what Jesus did for mankind.

Jesus gave to man reconciliation before man had knowledge that there had been a separation. Before we ever came to a realization that we sinned and became separated from God as a result of that sin God forgave us. He gave us reconciliation beforehand.

Why do...
