The 7 Blessings of YOM KIPPUR - Prayer tonight at 6pm

As part of God’s High Holy Days, Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement), the holiest day on God’s calendar, begins tonight, September 15th at sundown and completes what is known as the “10 Days of Awe,” followed by the Feast of Tabernacles Sept 20-27.
I am excited to tell you about seven specific blessings that God wants to provide for you! God is a God of timing, and we are about to enter a very special time the Lord has eternally established with specific instruction.
The central themes of Yom Kippur are atonement and repentance; reflecting on the personal aspects of the past year; improvements we can make; seeking forgiveness; and showing compassion to others.
And through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, God restores us to perfect union with Himself!
In this very holy season, this is your opportunity to come alongside Israel and the Jewish people in this new year on God’s divine calendar, 5782.
God commanded Moses on how to atone for the sins of the people of Israel. The high priest would meet Him at the altar of incense and the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 30:6) once a year!
Through the atonement of the accepted sacrifice, God truly desires to bless His people! Joel chapter 2 lists seven special blessings the Lord wants to provide for His people during this special time on His prophetic calendar:
- A double portion (Joel 2:23)
- Financial prosperity (Joel 2:24)
- Restoration (Joel 2:25)
- Special miracles (Joel 2:26,30)
- God’s presence and favor (Joel 2:27)
- Blessings for your sons and daughters (Joel 2:28)
- Deliverance from harm and oppression (Joel 2:32)
What an awesome God we serve, and He requires us to COME NOW to His holiest day, the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. When you honor God during His commanded feast season with your very best gift, He promises to release these special blessings found in Joel 2.
God instructed this to be continued… PERMANENTLY! “This shall be a permanent statute for you…it is to be a sabbath of solemn rest for you, that you may humble your souls; it is a permanent statute" (Leviticus 16:29,31).
He also declares in Deuteronomy 16:16,17 concerning this feast season: “No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed. Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way your God has blessed you.”
You see, friend, this is more than just observing a religious holiday on the calendar. It is commanded by God! Our obedience ACTIVATES God’s promises for the entire year 5782 (God’s calendar) … and I believe the ministry of Hope for America is uniquely positioned to help usher in the glory and presence of God, to impact Israel, and awaken the nations in this pivotal moment in redemption history.
