Jesus says, I AM WILLING to answer your Significant Prayers this week - Willing Heart August
Welcome to Day 1 of Willing Heart August Solemn Assembly of Prayer
Day 1 Devotion - THE WILLING HEART - A HEART OF SACRIFICE
This morning in our Facebook Live prayer time, the Spirit of God spoke to us and said....If you're willing, I AM Willing....to hear and answer your significant prayers this week. As I heard this word from the Spirit of God, I was immediately reminded of the leper from Matthew 8:2, that came to be healed by Jesus of the hopeless, incurable disease of leprosy;
And a man with leprosy came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 8:2-3
This leper approached Jesus, not doubting whether He could heal him, but questioning whether Jesus was willing to heal him. Because He was a leper, and lepers were outcasts that were not to be touched, for fear of catching and spreading this contagious disease.
Today, we, like the leper, don't doubt whether Jesus can heal incurable diseases, but we often doubt whether He's willing to heal US....We believe He can heal someone else, but is He willing to heal US, does He still heal incurable diseases TODAY.....JESUS says to us this week....I AM WILLING.....But are YOU willing to Ask? Are YOU willing to lay aside your doubt, fear, and anxiety, offering it all to ME as a LIVING sacrifice for MY WILL to be done in YOU, in your life, in your family, in your communities, or in your finances? IF YOU'RE WILLING, I AM WILLING.
This week in Willing Heart August we are going to sacrifice, time, food, and money for what God wills and wants to do in our lives in the month of August....
We're going to pray, fast and give for God to dwell amongst us to bring us into SIGNIFICANT ANSWERED PRAYERS, that we have hesitated to ask Him for, because we didn't think He was willing to do it for us. BUT THIS WEEK, we're coming before His throne in boldness, believing, asking and laying aside our flesh for HIS will for our lives in Willing Heart August. He says in Exodus 35:4, 5
‘Take from among you a contribution to the Lord; whoever is of a willing heart is to bring it as the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze....And Have them construct a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them. Exodus 35:5; 25:8 NASB
This week, were going to take a step of faith and add action to what we believe, and;
1. WRITE DOWN WHAT WE NEED FROM GOD
2. GIVE ASSIGNED TIME THIS WEEK TO PRAY, FAST AND GIVE
3. SIGN UP TO WATCH/PRAY FOR 1 HOUR ON THE ONLINE PRAYER ZOOM
And He *came to the disciples and *found them sleeping, and He *said to Peter, “So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
