Day 4 Devotion - THE UNDERSTANDING HEART- DISCERNING HOW TO RETURN TO THE LORD
This morning in our Facebook Live prayer time...the Holy Spirit revealed step 4 of how we return to him in worship from Zechariah 14:16
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This is the season of the Feast of the Lord, with Feast of Trumpets begining two nights ago, beginning the10 days of AWE (for repentance and covering), then YOM KIPPER on Sept 15th and then the Feast of Tabernacles, coming up later this month culminating this feast season, Sept 20th - 27th..
We return to Christ in worship in this season by choosing to gather in Solemn Assemblies of Prayer and Celebration, to worship Him as King of the earth, over the kings of this earth. And when He returns to the earth, during the Millennium, we will return to Jerusalem once a year during the Feast of Tabernacles to worship Jesus, Yeshua Hamischiach as King over the whole earth.
A return to Worship is the fourth step to returning to the Lord in this season of His return. And as we return to worship Him scripture says we will receive RAIN....as oppossed to the plague.
And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zechariah 14:17-19 KJV
I choose the Rain over the Plague. What about You? As we return to worship the king we position ourselves to be kept from the plague, COVID19. Plagues in the bible were always the result of rebellion against God, or God ordained authority, of not choosing to Worship the King. But those who choose His authority, and return to worship Him receives the Rain, not the plagues.
The Bible it speaks of rain on many occasions. In the majority of these instances, it is referring to the blessings of rain. There are eight references to what rain is associated with in the Bible.
Here Comes the Rain
1. BREAD (substance, money) – Exodus 16:4 Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate everyday, that I may prove them whether they will walk in my law, or no.
2. BLESSING – Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all of the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
3. DOCTRINE – Deuteronomy 32:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.
4. RIGHTEOUSNESS – Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
5. JUDGEMENT – Psalm 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be portion of their cup.
6. THE WORD OF GOD – Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but
watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth.
7. GOD – Hosea 6:3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he
shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and the former rain unto the earth.
8. FAVOR – Proverbs 16:15 In the light of the king’s countenance is life; and his favor is as a cloud of the latter rain.
LET'S RETURN IN WORSHIP TO THE KING IN THIS FEAST SEASON TO RECEIVE THE RAIN AND REMOVE THE PLAGUE OF COVID-19 IN JESUS NAME.
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
