Day 10 – 40 Days of the Shofar
This is also an appointed time for sowing and reaping. It’s the season of the final of our three First Fruit offerings on Sukkot. Joel 2:23-24 directly connects this “due season” with both the early and latter rain. So, if we’ll arise with a renewed sense of purpose and dedication, and respond with our first fruits offering we can expect an abundant outpouring of blessing in our lives.
Blowing your Jericho Walls down
“So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.”
Joshua 6:20 NKJV
Todays blowing of the Shofar comes from Joshua 6:20. And Today when we hear the sound of the Shofar we will see the walls surrounding our promised cities come down. Today God wants to bring down those Jericho walls in your life keeping you from your promise of productive relationships, keeping you from your promised healing, health and prosperity. Hear the sound of the shofar today and watch those walls come down.
They utterly destroyed everything in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
