Welcome to the Heart after God Solemn Assembly of Prayer - A week of prayer, fasting and seeking after the Heart of God. Isaiah 55:3-7; Acts 13:22
(DAY 1) OUR FATHER……from the When You Pray, Say book.....The Fatherhood Anointing.
Pray for 30 minutes through the 1ST phrase from the disciple’s prayer; OUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.
(DAY 1) THE CLEAN HEART....from the 12 Dimensions of the Heart of God book...
Fast until 6pm and Pray in tongues for 30 minutes and Meditate on Isaiah 55:3-5; Acts 13:21-24; and the 12 Dimensions of the Heart of God....The Clean Heart Psa. 51:10
Becoming a Man After God's own Heart
Nineteen years ago, my heart was broken as God directed me to close down my father’s Church in the inner-city of Columbus Ohio. I had been recently installed as the Pastor and was contemplating how to proceed when God said, “This is not My will for your life.” My heart was broken thinking about how to let go of what many people, both family and friends, thought was God’s will for my life.
To begin healing my heart, God began revealing to me what it takes to know the will of God for my life – you must be a man after His heart from Acts 13:22.
I found David, a man after mine own heart which shall fulfill all of my will.
This verse sent me on a personal research and quest to try to locate
the heart of God, and His peace in my life, when I realized that I had no peace doing my own thing.
This verse sent me on a study and a
quest after God’s heart, after mine was revealed to be after the works of fleshly ambition in ministry.
It began as a quest to get rid of every vestige of selfishness and carnality in my life. It started out as a quest to know God’s Heart in order to accomplish all of His will for my life.
1999 devasted me, after God instructed me to close down my father’s church in the inner-city of Columbus Ohio.
While dealing with the brokenness of my heart and life, I was reading in the book of Acts and came across Acts 13:22; I found David, a man after mine own heart which shall fulfill all of my will.
After I read that verse, I was totally engulfed with two questions in my spirit;
Firstly “How does a man receive a testimony from God that he fulfilled all
of God’s will in his generation? And
Secondly, WHAT IS THE HEART OF GOD?
In this book we will behold the beauty of the Heart of God, and what it consists of in order to ascertain God’s will for our lives, our families, and the earth in this generation.
The word “beauty” in the Hebrew is a word that means; to be agreeable with.
We will study and gaze on all 12 Dimensions of God’s beautiful heart that has been revealed in scripture, that we might agree with what’s on His heart, to do His will in our lifetime.
God reveals in scripture 12 heart postures that will lead us to the 12 dimensions of the Heart of God. Each month we will examine one of these 12 dimensions of God's heart....
