Day 16 – 40 Days of the Shofar
The familiar long, straight shofar blast (Tekiah) is the sound of the King’s coronation. As we receive this revelation and participate in this season, we are symbolically crowning God as our King.
Hearing the sound for the coronation of the King to reign Supreme
And have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there as king over Israel, and blow the trumpet and say, ‘Long live King Solomon!’ Then you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne, and he shall be king in my place; for I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and Judah.”
1 Kings 1:34-35
Todays blowing of the Shofar comes from I Kings 1 :34, 35 When David charged Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet to blow the Shofar to coronate Solomon King over Israel. Today as the Sound of the Shofar is sounded we proclaim LONG LIVE KING JESUS over every area of our lives. The Kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever. Every other kingdom comes down over your life as the Shofar is blown today in your life. The kingdoms of sexual perversion, fear, anxiety, worry, financial lack, and poverty are all being dethroned over our lives today, over our minds, over our families, over our cities, regions and nations in Jesus Name.
Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
