DISCIPLINE COMES FROM FATHERS
and you have forgotten the divine word of encouragement which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not make light of the discipline of the Lord, And do not lose heart and give up when you are corrected by Him; For the Lord disciplines and corrects those whom He loves, And He punishes every son whom He receives and welcomes [to His heart].” Hebrews 12:5-6 AMP
CORRECTION IS FOR CONNECTION - God corrects us to connect us...to both Him and others.
DISCIPLINE COMES FROM FOLLOWING THE WORDS OF A FATHER
So Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. John 8:31 AMP
We entered into the BEGINNING OF SORROWS (Birth Pangs) in 2020/21....A TIME OF JUDGEMENT IN THE EARTH TO WAKE UP HIS PEOPLE AND TURN US BACK TO HIM. Isaiah 26:17-21
As a woman with child approaches the time to give birth, She is in pain and struggles and cries out in her labor, So we were before You, O Lord. Come, my people, enter your chambers And shut your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until the [Lord’s] wrath is past. Listen carefully, the Lord is about to come out of His [heavenly] place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wickedness [their sin, their injustice, their wrongdoing]; The earth will reveal the [innocent] blood shed upon her And will no longer cover her slain. Isaiah 26:17, 20-21 AMP
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:7-8 NKJV
GODLY INITIATED SORROW IS FOR REPENTANCE UNTO SALVATION IN THE EARTH.
For [godly] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death. 2 Corinthians 7:10 AMP
In 2022 God is turning Our Sorrow into Joy, Our Discipline into Deliverance, Our Correction into Connection.
Do not fear, O land; be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done great things!
