THE PERFECT HEART – THE UNITY OF ALL RACES - Pt 3

In John 17 Christ prayed a prayer that only we can answer - John 17:11 I am no longer in the world, and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You Holy Father keep them in Your name the name which You have given Me that they may be one even as We are.

The oneness of Christs' disciples is a journey into Him and a journey into one another that doesn't just happen because we are born into a family, or because we are in relationship with one another through marriage, or because we are saved and born-again.  We must grow up into Him, and we must grow up into one another, through pain, trouble and tribulation. 

Acts 14:22 Through much tribulation we must enter into the kingdom of God

We are not born mature or perfected for unity, but we must endure through relational conflict, contention and even brokenness through obtaining a Perfect...

Welcome to Day 1 OF OUR MAY SOLEMN ASSEMBLY OF PRAYER - PERFECT HEART MAY

As we enter into this first day of Perfect Heart May Solemn Assembly of prayer and fasting, I believe it is imperative for God's people to understand the culture of fasting that must accompany prayer in God's house of prayer. 

Fasting was a part of the culture of the church that was seen in the Antioch Church in Acts 13:1. And if we are to endure this season(s) in the earth before His return we must return this virtue to a regular part of our lifestyle in Christ Church of the 21st century.

13 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Fasting Prepares you to Pray and Say with Power...

Racism is often politicized and misappropriated as bigotry or as prejudice, or as racial bias or even racial hatred. While these all are egregious characteristics of racism, they are not racism. None of these are racism.  Racism is power struggle between races, for resources, power, and the control of the narrative of another people group. The ultimate expression of racism carried to it’s destructive and evil end is the complete annihilation and elimination of another people of group.  The purest expression of that form of racism is what Margaret Sanger did with Planned Parenthood, setting an organization in place to eliminate the undesirables from society.  Black people, of course was lumped into that category of undesirables.  Another expression of racism in recent history was Hitler in the Nazi Germany era eliminating the Jews. Both Margaret Sanger and Adolph Hitler were the epitome of a racists. 

Racism at its purest expression is the elimination...

JESUS DEALT WITH SEVERE DEPRESSION & THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE (For every Pastor or Leader Betrayed, Rejected by those they're called to Lead)

Matthew 26:37-45....And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and distressed. Then He *said to them, “My soul is DEEPLY GRIEVED TO THE POINT OF DEATH; remain here and keep watch with Me.” And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”Matt 26:37-39 NASB

THE SIX STEPS OUT OF SUICIDE
1. He confided in three of His disciples....(Peter, James & John)..v.37
2 He confessed to them His thoughts of depression & Suicide....v38
3 He asked them to pray with him....v.39
4 He went and Prayed ALL Night ...v40
5 He forgave those who betrayed and rejected them....Matthew Ch. 27 (Father forgive them)
6 He released healing and deliverance of Mankind on the Cross....Isaiah 53:5
