Today is the first full day of the Feast of Tabernacle's called in Hebrew, Sukkot. It began last night at sundown. Sukkot is a feast of Thanksgiving.
It reminds Israel how the Lord provided for them in the wilderness for 40 years and it reminds us today that the God of Israel is still our provider today!
It is known as one of the three pilgrim feast because all of Israel came to Jerusalem during this Feast of Tabernacles to present to God a special offering (Deuteronomy 16:16).
